David Breitgand is a technical leader at the Cloud and Data Technologies group in IBM Haifa Research Lab, Israel. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2003. He is a member of the 5G-MEDIA and CloudButton projects focusing on applying serverless approach to NFV orchestration and big data analytics respectively. Recently David taught application of serverless at the 5G-MEDIA coding event. David published over 30 scientific papers and has a over 20 patents. His teaching experience include university level courses, tutorials and coding events.
