Eirik Albrigtsen is currently employed as an SRE at TrueLayer managing observability systems and improving developers' kubernetes experience. He has worked previously as a platform engineer at Babylon Health, and a platform engineer at Cisco. He has been speaking at public venues in London about rust, kubernetes, and devops at various London venues in 2018 and 2019, and at KubeCon in 2020 about kube-rs and the generic kubernetes api.

kube-rs started as a part-time project primarily maintained by Eirik, but thanks to community contributions and new maintainers it now lives under the CNCF umbrella.
