A Debian Developer and Open Source enthusiast, Marga has been working with Linux for over 15 years. Back in her hometown of Buenos Aires she led a large migration to Linux and open source tools, where she learned to navigate the tricky line between satisfying user needs and keeping the software stack in good shape. Before joining Kinvolk, she worked as an SRE at Google, in the team maintaining the internal Linux distribution used by Google engineers. Leading the development of automation tools, that let the team keep tens of thousands of computers updated and secure. At Kinvolk, she's helping the Flatcar team bring more automation to the building and releasing infrastructure, allowing the team to scale up.
